A. We have private and semi-private rooms.
Q. Can pets come to visit at the facility?
A. Yes. Pets are allowed to visit the facility. Current shot records must be provided prior to visiting.
Q. Does Groton Community Health Care Center provide short term rehab?
A. Yes! We pride ourselves on the great therapy team we have at Groton Community Health Care Center who develop relationships with our residents to help them work toward their therapy goals.
Q. What types of therapy do you provide?
A. We provide Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and speech services. These services are provided up to 7 days a week depending on the resident needs.
Q. How do I learn more about your facility?
A. Please call our facility to schedule a tour and complete an application for admission. We will need to obtain medical information from the prospective resident’s physician or hospital discharge planner. You can reach us at 607-898-5876 and speak to Admissions.
Q. May personal items be brought into the facility?
A. Residents and families are encouraged to personalize their room with pictures, plants, mementos, and other items to make for a homey atmosphere.
Q. Do you have cable television?
A. All our rooms have a TV, and cable with no cost.
Q. May residents have telephones in their room?
A. Yes, at no cost.
